Day 01 Beijing/Lhasa

Your own transfer to catch the overnight train to Lhasa.

Day 02 On the way to Lhasa

Enjoying natural scenery on the way.

Day 03 Lhasa

Enjoying natural scenery on the train. Arriving at Lhasa Train Station at 20:58pm.
Upon arrival, greeted at Lhasa Train Station then transfer to check in your hotel.

Day 04 Lhasa (B)

Morning will be free to acclimatize to the high altitude.
Afternoon visit Sera Monastery, Jokhang Monastery and Octagon Street.

Day 05 Lhasa (B)

Full day trip to the magnificent Potala Palace and Derpung Monastery.

Day 06 Lhasa/Shigatse (B)

Morning transfer to Shigatse. On the way, visit the beautiful Yamdrok Lake, one of three holy lakes in Tibet.
Upon arrival, check in the hotel.

Day 07 Shigatse/Gyangtse/Shigatse (B)

Breakfast saved inside hotel.
Morning sightseeing to Tsahilbumpo Monastery which is the residence of Bainqen of all ages.
Afternoon transfer to Gyangtse for visiting Phalkor Tschode Monastery and Kumbum Stupa,the last stop is The Pala Manor which is one of the three kings of Nobilities in old Tibet, and now is the only one well-protected one in Tibet. Before the liberation of 1994,the Pharla family had 37 manos,12farms,over 30,000mu land,etc. There are a three-floor building, with aresidence area of 5,000 square meters,82 rooms, serf yards and well- preserved property and goods in the main manor in Banjorlhunbo for you to visit.

Day 08 Shigatse/Tsedang (B)

Breakfast served at the hotel.
Morning pick up to Tsedang.

Afternoon excursion to Monastery Sanye.

Day 09 Tsedang/Beijing (B)

Breakfast served at the hotel.
Morning sightseeing to Yumbu Lhakhang, the first Tibet King Palace.

Tibet Entry Permit

Tour price includes the entry permit fee to Tibet. For applying Tibet entry permit, tour participants are required to provide the copy of you passport (first page), the copy of you Chinese Visa, and your occupation while making reservations. Reporters and other members of the Media as well as Diplomats are prohibited to visit Lhasa by China government.

Recommended Items to Bring

Keep the cold at bay with a down jacket, woollen sweater, long undrwear, woolen socks, gloves and a wool hat. Protect yourself against the sun with lip salve, sun-screen sunglasses, and a sun hat.

Weather

Temperatures can vary from below zero with dry air during the early morning and evening to 20 degrees centigrade at midday.

Important Information

Lhasa is a high-altitude region (from 4,000 to 5,000 meters) with thin air, so travellers will experience some symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness. Until your body has become acclimated to the lack of oxygen, you may experience temporary symptoms such as headaches, sleep difficulties, nausea and dizziness
