Shenhua Beijing Guohua Electric Power Co., Ltd Corporation (hereinafter referred to as GHEPC) was established on Mar 11, 1999. As the fully-owned subsidiary company of Shenhua group Co., Ltd, GHEPC is fully responsible for electric power business management of Shenhua Group.
At the end of 2008, the electricity-generating assets managed by GHEPC distributes in Tianjin, Beijing, Hebei, Liaoning，Neimenggu，Shanxi，Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces, autonomies and municipalities, etc, with total capacity 97.7 billion RMB (about 10 billion US Dollars), installed operation capacity 18,525 MW, installed capacity under construction 7840 MW, which was listed into national plan. Installed operation capacity will be over 30 000MW in 2010 as planned and 50000 MW in 2020.
