Chinese tourists worry about ecoenvironment of scenic spots
Chinanews, Beijing, September 24 – The ecoenvironments of many scenic spots in Beijing are deteriorating , and a recent survey shows that 82.7% of Chinese tourists are deeply worried about the environmental conditions of scenic spots as well as their development pattern.
The survey was conducted in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, covering 700-odd respondents, most of whom believe tourism should find a way of sustainable development. However, more than 80% of them also admit that the ecoenviroments of quite a large number of scenic spots have been ruined by now.
Some 54.5% of the respondents think it is possible to find a way to balance rapid economic growth and sustainable development, while another 29.5% doubt whether it is necessary to develop tourism in a rash way.
