Tourists complain about high charges in Qinghai Lake
Chinanews, Beijing, Sept. 6 – Recently many tourists have complained about high charges collected in the Qinghai Lake scenic spot. The lake, covering an area of 4,300 sq km, has attracted many tourists from home and abroad.
Recently, when some tourists were taking rest on the edge of a field, and a man riding a motorcycle suddenly pulled up to ask them to pay the space they used which made these tourists were very upset. They finally gave 2 yuan to that man.
A tourist from Sichuan Province said that as soon as he had just parked the car near his lake, he found that several people came along to ask for parking fees.
When our reporter visited the lake and took some pictures, he found that several people also came over and charged him asked for fees of taking photos. Many local people also had set up private parks, and experts warned these parks posed a direct threat to the environment of the lake.
